Abstract
A large part of the corn seed is processed and prepared on the types of plants that are equipped with standard equipment and machines. Analysis of the plants shows that the processing is observed injury and deterioration seed purity, lowering their quality. The reasons for this are both the state of equipment depreciation and violation of technical and technological parameters of processing without biological properties and characteristics of seed corn hybrids. Therefore, the aim of the work was to establish the quality of seed hybrids and inbred lines in the processing plant on the model, to identify operations that have the greatest impact on quality. Features of treatment studied in a typical corn processing plant, the seasonal capacity of 500 tons seed. Quality sed was determined in accordance with accepted methods and standards. Established operations and the factors that influence the quality of the corn seed in a typical corn processing factory. On receiving operation ears drying keep high quality of seeds (germination, productivity). Significant deterioration manifests itself in the ears and threshing operations clean-sorting seeds. The factors include injury and deterioration of caving admixture of grain, which is formed when handling wet ears drying up. Etching boosts germination and seed yield, but their figures do not always meet the indicators in the operations of reception and drying ears. The features of hybrid seed treatment depending on the conditions of their growth and maturation.
