One of the most important directions in the teaching of clinical pharmacy is the using of drugs in cases of metabolic disorders. The lecturer should use modern data on molecular and submolecular regulation of cellular metabolism, and emphasize that one of the manifestations of cell function abnormalities is a change in metabolism, which manifests itself as a deviation in the synthesis and cumulation of energy substrates, protein complexes, accumulation of metabolic products. The final result of training is the formation of the skills to independently choose the correctors of metabolism, their dosage regimen, to evaluate their effectiveness and safety, to prevent and correct their side effect.
