Research on the subject of the Internet addiction was carried out among the students of medical institute in North-Eastern Federal University. The last two decades were marked by universal distribution of the Internet in both professional and everyday life of tens of millions of people [Egorov Alexey Yuryevich - "Disorders of behavior at teenagers: kliniko-psychological aspects" (2007)]. The aim is to find out how much the students of medical institute are addicted to the Internet. In the course of the research, 229 students have been interviewed. The test consisting of 20 questions by professor Kimberly Young (1998) has been offered for 2-4-year students of medical institute. For result processing we made the table with percentage ratio of questions and answers by 5-point scale of questioning, during which we have allocated the most significant indicators.
