Abstract
In the article one of the actual themes of the present is considered – the influence of the teacher's skill on the upbringing of the younger generation. The author describes in detail the most important requirements for the modern teacher and gives examples of the manifestation of pedagogical technique and mastery of the teacher in classical Russian literature. All the above requirements for the modern teacher characterize the concept of "pedagogical technique", which occupies an important place in the structure of professional activity.
