ON THE ISSUE OF DIFFERENTIATION OF THE MASS-MEDIA DISCOURSE PRONOUNCING STYLES IN GREAT BRITAIN

The issues of speech styles classification and differentiation represented in the traditional linguistic science as well as in the foreign researches are studied in the present paper. Classification of style shaping factors and their influence on the speaker's style choice or style- and code-switching are analyzed. The possible ways for further phonostylistic studies of the British mass-media discourse considering the language situation in the country are defined.
