Abstract

It is a normal reaction to the company's management in terms of growth in demand for their products when they want to increase the volume of production, because it is one of the surest ways to achieve better business and financial performance. The volume of production can be increased in various ways , as in conditions of falling demand of production which can be reduced with the use of various production adaptation. One of the ways that the firm makes the higher production volume, in terms of existing capacity, is the adjustment by varying the intensity of production. In this form of adaptation the capacity of a company or its organizational and technological work ( plant, division, business unit or department ) and the duration of production are constant and do not change until the labour intensity increases or decreases. To the variation of the volume of production comes, therefore, with the only change in intensity. The changes in production from existing facilities and an unchanged number of employees working at the unaltered time, means a change in labour productivity of workers in the technological stage of production and variation in the intensity of use of the available capacity of the company. The intensity of production can be changed in various ways, which primarily depends on the nature of the technological process, the specifics of the equipment used in production, the level of expertise of engaged workforce and the impact of other factors.
