Abstract

The article discusses the variant methods used now and watering techniques with operating coal cutting and heading machines, as well as the dependence of watering parameters from watered objects and conditions of dust interaction with the dispersed liquid. Some conclusions are made on the size of dust particles that cannot be captured, and the size of water droplets. The questions of the methods and ways of watering improvement are reviewed. The data on the residual dust content with the used methods of dust control are shown. Dust watering parameters change pattern, exactly water consumption reduction, the minimum size of the captured dust particles , watering power consumption, the number of sprinklers, production of atmospheric moisture are analyzed.
