Abstract
This article describes the issues of environmental protection and the creation of optimal hygiene and sanitary conditions of work at open cast coal mining through development and implementation of complex ways and means to reduce dust emissions from the open cast mine production process lines, based on the dust formation regularities study results, the impact of physical and mechanical properties of rocks of the coal elds on the process, as well as mining equipment parameters , weather conditions and the location of the fugitive dust emission sources in the open cast mine space. Data on dust air pollution at various open-cast mine profession specialists workplaces involved, methods of dust suppression solutions when developing open-cast coal mining are presented.
It may be noted that the implementation of the above activities, as described in a scienti c paper, would ensure the implementation of the technical and economic tasks as the increase in productivity, reduction of mineral losses, mining equipment reduced wear, reduction of payments for environmental pollution.
