Abstract

Equine - a promising field of livestock, which is engaged in breeding and use of horses in different directions. The development of horse breeding involves finding ways proper nutrition, based on knowledge of anatomical and physiological characteristics of horses. It is necessary to produce high quality feed, to study the impact of different ingredients to develop new recipes that are adapted to the needs of different types of horses. Since the main condition for improving, the efficiency of feed production is the availability of modern fodder that will help extend the range of finished products. Improve recipes feed for horses possible by the introduction of non-traditional commodities and reduce the use of raw grain, which reduces production costs. Questions regarding the use of by-products of the canning industry in the production of animal feed. A chemical composition and nutritional value of fresh apple pomace, indicating enrichment of dietary nitrogen free extract, pectin, polyphenols, and essential amino acids, vitamins and mineral elements. In connection with the above, the technology of production of extruded feed supplement based on crushed barley and fresh apple pomace with its further use in animal feed, concentrates for horses, and examined the chemical composition of extruded feed additive. The composition prescription feed-concentrate using the program "Food Optima Expert" and determined the optimal content of extruded feed additive in feed composition according to the norms of feeding and energy performance and nutritional value of finished goods for sports and trained horses. Due to the introduction of extruded feed additive of the recipe completely exclude extruded corn and barley grains reduced the percentage introduction of oats. The biological value conducted on laboratory rats and Wistar study presents the results of biological evaluation of feed-concentrate with the introduction of extruded feed additive in the amount of 25% compared to conventional forage-concentrate for trained and sport horses. The average increase in body weight of laboratory rats in group 1 (control) by 8.6 and 25.6% less than in the 2nd and 3rd (D) groups, respectively.
