Abstract
In the article the meaning and the significance of general
foundations of art form are investigated. The basis of this investigation is V.I. Tasalov's conception exposed in the book “Art in the ”Man – Universe” System”. The importance of this work is very significant for the comprehension of the essence of typological art form frames. The special side the problem is the function these frames in industrial design.
