Abstract
Voltage source inverters are especially familiar for high power industry applications. In general these inverters to give require sine wave output to load for effective operation. To adopting several modulation schemes we can obtain sinusoidal output from inverters. This outcome has with rich content of harmonics. These problems are overcome by using multilevel inverters. But the circuit is very intricate and also need isolated power supplies to the inverter. In this paper represents, square wave inverter by means of SCRs is operated a low frequency along with a series connected pulse width modulated inverter, in every phase is designed. The three-phase inverter fundamentally works as a voltage source inverter generates square wave output. The proposed technique of series compensator is used in each phase to generate merely the desired harmonic voltages to make the sinusoidal voltage as a net output.
