Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of the formation of Pelle Park near Petersburg. Catherine the Second thought to create here one of her biggest estates. The author recreates the story of the park's foundation. Also the author tries to specify the role of Catherine the Great and the activity of J. Bush and J. Munro.
