Abstract

Article is devoted to analysis of specifics of “l'azione scenica” (“scenic action”) — important one genre of the Italian opera theater in the second half of the XX century. This genre is researched on the example of Luigi Nono's musical and drama work as “Al gran sole carico d'amore” (“In the Bright Sunshine Heavy with Love”). The verbal row of the composition written in common by the composer and Yury Lyubimov (director of performance), is based on fragments of compositions of B. Brecht, M. Gorky, A. Rimbaud, and also letters and articles of participants of revolution in Russia, Italy, France, Bolivia, Vietnam and in Cuba. This composition, finishing the engaged period in Nono's creativity, shows active search of spatial effects, the new texture decisions which have been the basis for late work of the composer, created out of a support on communistic ideology. The author states a hypothesis: concept of “Al gran sole carico d'amore” is close to the passion's ideology: in the center of attention are sufferings of revolutionary female. This treatment helps a show off the work's main idea — sacrifice for freedom of mankind.
