Abstract
This article explores an artistic image of space in sculpture on the
example of the Soviet Constructivists' creative works. Constructivists' creative pursuits gave a considerable impetus to the development of sculpture, helped to expand the boundaries of the concept of «sculpture» and helped to change the traditional systems of its exhibiting. Creative pursuits by the main representatives of constructivism gave a new understanding of the artistic image of space in sculpture. Space becomes a conceptual idea.
