An Outstanding Craftsman of Russian Ceramics of the Late 19th — Early 20th Centuries

The article is devoted to almost unknown joint creative work of genius artist and innovator M. Vrubel and outstanding master and technologist P. Vaulin, which had a huge influence on the formation of Russian monumentally-decorative art at the turn of the XX century and revival of national style in ceramics. Important role of technological experiments and discoveries of P. Vaulin with help of which ceramic works of some famous Russian artists got bright personality, stylistic innovation and unique color spectrum is noted.
