Abstract
This article focuses on the new concept of space in the sculpture of the XX century. Changes in this period were the impetus for the finding a new shaping and creating new artistic images. The theme is revealed by comparing the creative techniques of G. Moore and J. Plensa. Evolution of plastic language, features and creative methods of each of the sculptors were considered. Their works have had a significant impact on the further development of the sculpture, volume and space in sculpture.
