Abstract
Аuthor touches upon the problems of modern church architecture and questions of interaction of tradition and innovation generally on the example of the competitive project of Polish architect Marek Budzynski. Today we can observe the increasing polarization of the frozen classical language, gravitating to the absolute landmarks, and dynamic “modern” language, which is based on subjective, individual, relative. In his works Budzynski wonder to overcome this unnatural polarization and clearly demonstrates the ability of their organic interaction, creative dialogue and mutual enrichment equally for the temple and secular architecture. He seeks to get away from the tradition of style to the tradition of sense.
