Abstract
In 1965 year in France was published the biography of L.N. Tolstoy by Henri Troyat (“Tolstoï”). It became very popular and was translated in different languages. This pamphlet is the answer and moral reaction of A.L. Tolstaya, the junior daughter of the writer, who lived in America and probably read the book of Troyat both in original, French, and in English (“Tolstoy”, 1967, translated by Nancy Amphoux). Some remarks to the text of the critical review replaced below the pages.
