Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of exhibition practice,
which has introduced the notion “Central Asian Avant-Garde”, chronicles of its art in Russian culture. A review of exhibition concepts and its catalogues is given, which are the bibliographic rarity — valuable scientific and informational, research source. The significance of Nukuss Museum collection is shown; the role of its founder I.V. Savitsky in preservation of the heritage of the masters of Russian Avant-Garde and unofficial Soviet Art, which worked beyond the region.
