Abstract
Abstract : Six years old male child, a case of Beta Thalassemia major who had repeated blood transfusions from 6th months of age was admitted with complaints of failure to thrive, breathlessness and decreased activity. Investigations revealed microcytic hypochromic anemia, thrombocytopenia, prolonged BT, CT, abnormal LFT, tricuspid regurgitation grade III with moderate pulmonary hypertension and cardiomegaly.
