Abstract
Abstract : A 58 year old woman presented with pain defective vision in the left eye,22 days after cataract surgery. She had good visual recovery for the first 10 days after which the symptoms started. She was on treatment with topical antibiotics. Her VA was light perception. Ocular examination revealed gape at scleral section with infiltration, scleral abscess, ring like corneal infiltrate and endoexudates. USG revealed mild vitritis. A diagnosis of presumed Nocardial infection was made and started on Amikacin 2 eye drops hourly. On review after 2 days her VA and symptoms improved.
