Abstract
Rosai dorfmans disease is otherwise known as sinus histiocytosis with massive lymphadenopathy is a rare ,idiopathic, benign disorder of reticuloendothelial system that causes painless cervical lymphadenopathy. The extranodal manifestation of the disease which is very rare. Here we report a similar case of 26 year old male with right infratemporal fossa mass extending to lateral orbit,which on radiological investigations came to differential diagnosis of L y m p h o m a , G r a n u l o m a t o u s lesion, Schwannoma, Tuberculosis ,Sarcoidosis. All speciality opinion were inconclusive and no improvement on medical management.Then we decided for the excision of the mass through an external approach. The post operative HPE report came as Rosai Dorfman Disease
