Abstract
Mucormycosis is an opportunistic fungal infection caused by saprophytic fungi of class zygomycetes and order mucorales. The most common form is rhinocerebral mucormycosis and usually seen in immunocompromised individuals. We report a case of rhinomaxillary mucormycosis with palatal perforation in a known type II diabetes mellitus patient. Our goal is to emphasize prompt diagnosis and appropriate management of this condition with wide surgical debridement which gives a good result .
