Abstract
ABSTRACT Nasopharyngeal angiofibroma is a benign but potentially invasive vascular tumour characteristically occurring in adolescent males. Presentation beyond the usual age group (1,2 )and in the female gender (3,4 )are rare. It rarely originates in sites beyond the nasopharynx. Here we present an unusual case of angiofibroma occurring in a 55 year old female, with its origin from the nasal cavity, who was treated by excision of the mass by lateral rhinotomy approach.
