Abstract
The authors conducted a study of peculiarities of development of small enterprises in 2011-2012 years. Analyzed the main indicators describing the activities of small businesses in 2011-2012. The obtained effective analytical figures indicate inadequate state support the activities of this sector of the economy by the government. There are recommendations for the effective management of enterprises in this sector of the economy.
