Abstract
In the historical process, music technology starts with musical instruments and music production generally. In subsequent years, audio recording have been created number of research area in music technology. Music technology now covers many areas such as sound reinforcement, computer music composition, broadcasting, acoustics, sound design and analysis, information retrieval etc. However, music technology which addressed the sector that creates its own industry converts music technology education into a unique structure. Music technology education which previously based on relations between master and apprentice, nowadays have to be completed at the end of a process that requires education. Employee of music technology creates the different way at the end of this education. The main concept of education of music technology in Turkey is not different from the other countries as well and Department of Music Technology, the first undergraduate program of music technology in Turkey, within Faculty of Fine Arts at Dokuz Eylul University, is represented as a model for music technology education.
