Abstract
Nowadays, accounting information systems (AIS) has contributes to the development of accounting work. The role of Information technology, organisational factors and social factors has also improved the quality of professional services in an accounting organization. The study has achieved the level of accounting information systems usage, and the factors that determine the level of acceptance. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was also used to determined the computerized accounting information systems in different financial institutions in South Africa. To attain this objective, a total of 104 were participated by survey questionnaires, usage of accounting information systems were majorities of staff, and hypothesis was tested to justify the study in South Africa.
