Abstract
This article is devoted to the study of the content and peculiarities of the Industry 4.0 concept in the chemical industry. The role of chemical manufacturing in "smart" industrialization is shown. New opportunities of the chemical business connected with the use of "smart" technologies are analyzed. The key aspects of the implementation of the Chemicals 4.0 are determined taking into account the world experience of the neoindustrial chemical industry transformations.
