DEVELOPMENT OF COGNITIVE ACTIVITY OF CHILDREN WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES

The article "Development of cognitive activity of children with intellectual disabilities" is the result of research within the writing of a thesis, organized and conducted by the author on the basis of a psychoneurological boarding school for children "Sun". The article contains a theoretical substantiation and practical recommendations on organization of educational process in the group of children of preschool age with intellectual disabilities living in closed institutions. Reflects modern approaches to the problem of development of cognitive activity of children with intellectual disabilities. Describes an innovative experience in the development of subject-space environment of a child's life to ensure its cognitive development.
