Abstract
Organic agriculture has caused the growth of interest worldwide. I believe that it creates significant social, economic and environmental benefits. It can be another method for promoting mitigation of climate change through processes such as increased carbon sequestration in the soil. In a broad sense, organic farming is also considered environmentally friendly due emphasis on the minimization of tillage and limited use of pesticides, herbicides and synthetic fertilizer. In addition, it is expected that organic agriculture will play an important role in combating desertification, preserving biodiversity, promoting sustainable development, promoting animal health and viability of the plant. The growing interest from consumers and markets around the world also opened new trade opportunities for the developing countries that are implemented on the basis of the internationally recognized certification.
