Abstract

Propedeutics of physical knowledge in extracurricular activities in 5-6 classes. Having paid special attention to this question, it is possible to adapt physical material according to age features of students that will allow to deepen and expand knowledge gained at world around lessons at elementary school. At the organization of after-hour work on physics by the leader there has to be a principle of granting to all pupils showing interest in physics, in its applications in practical life, a possibility of satisfaction of their interests and development of abilities. The physics as science attracts interest of the considerable proportion of students, but a larger number of students uses its practical applications, and therefore it makes sense to explain them the physical principles of operation of various technical devices. Development of cognitive interest is a task not only after-hour work, but also all educational activity. after-hour work on physics has a number of features in the solution of this task: first, on after-hour classes in physics there is a possibility of larger individualization of work with pupils; secondly, granting to each school student of a possibility of the choice of classes in its interests and the rate of work corresponding to his desires and opportunities. Also the fact that this activity is not regulated by conditions of obligatory achievement of any given results is of great importance. However before the teacher the problem of engaging to after-hour work on physics of all pupils, irrespective of their progress in a subject, but each pupil showing interest in physics is not necessary, the teacher has to notice and find the form of satisfaction and development of interest corresponding to his specific features. After-hour work on physics can be organized in individual, group and mass forms.
