Abstract
To protect the savings placed on deposits and accounts in banks – the main task of the system of mandatory Deposit insurance in the Russian Federation. The article discusses the highlights of the procedure of insurance of deposits of individuals. The Author gives proposals to improve the quality of the Deposit insurance system.
