CHANGE MEAT PRODUCTIVITY OF YOUNG CATTLE DEPENDING ON BREED AFFILIATION

Abstract
The article deals with improving the meat productivity of cattle, are bred in different climatic conditions. The study found that in the North Caucasus, there are significant differences in the growth and exit of meat products from young animals of various species. The difference in average daily liveweight gain was highly significant and amounted to 33.8% of live weight - up to 35, the weight of the carcass is to 32.7%. Significant enough differences in the cost of feed per 1 kg increase: they ranged from 6.2 to 7.5 feed units. Most suitable for growing and fattening animals are specialized meat breeds. They are hardy, tolerate low temperatures, so keep them in areas easy type or under the eaves. Cattle beef breeds characterized by high energy of growth at slaughter him get more meat products of high quality.
