Abstract
In this article the author examines theoretical aspects of applying a risk-oriented model of internal control of the enterprise. Also, analyzed the theoretical basis of application of the model internal control - COSO model, the basis of which are the five interrelated components: control environment, risk assessment, control activities, information and communication, monitoring. The author concludes that the system of internal control designed to mitigate potential risks and does not warrant error free operation of the enterprise.
