A WEB BROWSER AS A COMPONENT OF AN ELECTRONIC INFROMATION AND EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

Creating and sustaining electronic infromation and educational environment is one of the prerequisites for effective functioning of a higher educational institution. The paper analyzes different browsers from the viewpoint of their implementation as compononets of electronic infromation and educational environments. The classification of existing browsers, as well as their benefits and drawbacks for the above mentioned purpose are being viewed.
