Abstract
This article examines the problems of identification and hedging of interest rate risk. Species of percentage risk relative to the criteria of origin, sources, girth are defined. Characteristics of methods for estimating interest rate risk are given. The most well known models of interest rate dynamics are given, which determine the change in interest rates and, as a consequence, reflect the possible interest rate risk. The ways of risk management are revealed and justified.
