Abstract
The article introduces the history and the creation of the prosecutor's office in different time periods. The author also notes historical personalities who took direct part in its history and creation. Particular attention is focused on the formation of the prosecutor's office, the main organizational elements, the main legislative acts on it, as well as the assignment of duties to the staff of this body from 1302 to the present time.
