Abstract
In this article, the relevance of culinary tourism, its features and characteristics was considered. A person is given the opportunity to visit different drinking establishments and admire exactly the cuisine and the warm service of the masters of their craft. I was introduced to gastronomy as a key aspect of the tourist activities of the territory. Gastronomy has the potential to increase the attractiveness of the tourist product and destination in general. The gastronomic component corresponds to current trends in consumption patterns of people, such as a request for credibility, creativity and impressions. Culinary tourism can become the basis for the marketing strategy of many Russian tourist enterprises that have an excellent gastronomic tradition
