Abstract
Personal names is a lexical field that isn't only important for the native-speakers but also the sign they find important and obligate since it provides an insight into the culture of community. Each ethnic group faced with interference in personal names from the outside feels the threat of a crisis of identity. The future of linguistic and cultural diversity and tolerance in a multicultural community depends upon the ability to understand that a personal name is the primary meaning of identity in common usage. Any study of language needs to take consideration of personal names functions, how they are used every day in various cases. The knowledge of cultural differences and self-knowledge of how we usually respond to those differences can make us aware of hidden prejudices and stereotypes which are barriers to tolerance, understanding, and effective cross-ethnic communication.
