Abstract
The article explores the theoretical and practical aspects of investment in housing construction: the definition of the concept of investments in this area, the main participants, and the features of the stages of the investment process in the housing construction. Also the positive and negative aspects of this type of investment are considered and the main groups of factors affecting the housing construction industry are listed.
