LASER THERAPY IN THE TREATMENT OF INFERTILITY AND MENSTRUAL FUNCTION AGAINST THE BACKGROUND OF AUTOIMMUNE THYROIDITIS

Abstract
In order to determine the effectiveness of the influence of infrared laser therapy on the course of autoimmune thyroiditis, thyroid function and reproductive activity in women of childbearing age 180 patients 20-35 years, among whom 47 were suffering from infertility, 45 – habitual miscarriage and 86 – different types of menstrual dysfunction were examined. Depending on the level of functional activity of the thyroid gland obtained results were analyzed for three groups of observations: I – euthyroid, II – subclinical hypothyroidism, III – overthypothyroidism. As a result of the treatment in all groups found a significant reduction in the level of antibodies to thyroid peroxidase. Ascertained and reduced levels of thyroid stimulating hormone and thyroxine increase to normal values in groups I and II, subnormal – in III. Normalization of the menstrual cyclein the presence of the original menstrual dysfunction during 2-month observation was recorded in 75% of patients. Among women with in fertility for 3 years of observation have become pregnant with the healthy delivery healthy children 44,2%. Based on the results noted the high efficiency of the infraredlaser thyroid in women of reproductive age suffering from autoimmune thyroid it is with thyroid dysfunction, combined with menstrual dysfunction, in fertility and habitual abortion
