IMPORT SUBSTITUTION IN THE TREATMENT OF DEGENERATIVE-DYSTROPHIC DISEASES OF JOINTS OF LOWER EXTREMITIES

At this point in the treatment of degenerative-dystrophic diseases of joints of lower limbs the main method is replacement, and in the majority of cases is using imported products. High demand for joint replacement implants due to both increased capabilities in providing this kind of high-tech medical care and high frequency of formation of severe pathology due to the lack of timely diagnosis, prevention and treatment. In the article the complex of measures for early diagnosis of degenerative-dystrophic diseases of joints with the purpose of the correct guidance of young people, prevention of the formation of the severe stages of the disease, reduce the need for replacement(in cases requiring hip replacement, use of domestic products), which should reduce material costs for treatment of patients. The article proposes a set of measures aimed at early diagnostics of degenerative and dystrophic joint diseases to give a correct occupational guidance for population, prevention of development of severe stages of the pathology, deminishing a need of joint replacement that all should decrease material expenditures for treatment of this category of patients. To create a research & practical anti-arthrosis center (office) was offered; its tasks, purposes, and exemplary equipment are described. The work of the center is targeted at the use of domestic methods of diagnostics and treatment of degenerative and dystrophic joint diseases (import substitution).
