THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE CAUSES OF CONFLICT AND CONFLICT MANAGEMENT STYLES AT THE GENERAL DIROCTORATE OF FORESTY: AN APLLICATION IN THE BOLU REGIONAL DIRECTORATE OF FORESTRY

Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the causes and the intensity of the conflict and the relationship between the causes of conflict and conflict management styles at the general directorate of forestry. To this aim, the population of the study has been determined 335 employees of the Bolu Regional Directorate of Forestry. Because of the fact that the population is reachable, it has not been used any sampling method. Data has been collected all employees who are willing. Quantitative research method has been used in the study and survey technique has been preferred to collect the research data. The obtained data is analyzed by using SPSS 15.0 program. Also, it has been found that, in order to eliminate the conflicts that is with colleague, employees has been using at most problem-solving and consensus conflict management style; at least forcing conflict management style. In addition, it has been found that to eliminate conflicts that due to collogue, compliance conflict management style is used and due to management, agreement conflict management style is used. Furthermore, it has been found that when the workloads of the employees increase, the intensity of the conflict increases.
