Abstract
The article covers the scientists' contribution during the period of 1940s–2010s to the investigation of the issue of cultural connections between the famous Ukrainian scholar and thinker Mykhailo Drahomanov and intellectuals of Galicia, Bukovina and Transcarpathia. The achievements of Ukrainian authors – historians, philologists, folklorists, – including the diaspora ones, as well as the papers of European researchers are analyzed. It is concluded that the issue has been covered mainly in a context of the M. Drahomanov's activities or of the scientific and literary activities of certain intellectuals, cooperating with M. Drahomanov (those were, first of all, I. Franko and M. Pavlyk)
