Abstract
ABSTRACT-A case of carcinoma of the fallopian tube is being reported in view of its rarity of incidence and young age at presentation.Primary carcinoma of the fallopian tube is a very rare cancer with only 0.3 percent incidence among all female genital cancers. The first case was reported by Orthmann of Germany in 1886. To date less than 1200 cases of primary carcinoma of the fallopian tube have been reported in literature. The peak incidence is in the fifth and sixth decades of life and nulliparous women are affected more than parous women. One such case was reported in a 27 year old parous woman.
