Two unusual presentation of pulmonary nocardiosis in patients with Human immunodeficiency virus Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome A case report

The present report highlights two cases of pulmonary nocardiosis diagnosed during the time period of June 2009March 2010 presenting as consolidation with multiple cavities, fungal ball there by mimicking common opportunistic pathogens. Early and correct microbiological diagnosis can help to decrease the disease-related morbidity and mortality. The development of complication like dissemination and resistance can be prevented by early diagnosis and treatment
