Epidermoid cyst of round ligament of uterus masquerading as an inguinal hernia

Although rare, many congenital, inflammatory and neoplastic lesions occur in the round ligament of the uterus. True cystic swellings, such as dermoid and epidermoid cysts are extremely rare. We report a rare case of epidermoid cyst of round ligament of uterus, which presented clinically as an inguinal hernia.
