Evaluation of the Regional Investment Attractiveness for Business Units

The purpose of this article is to present the results of a study on evaluation of the regional investment attractiveness for business units. The shortcomings of the existing evaluation methods are indicated and the criteria for the new method are determined. The regional investment attractiveness is proposed to be considered as a difference between investment potential and investment risk. The factors for calculating investment potential and investment risk are determined. The profiles of regions are constructed based on the interests of potential investors. Criteria for the effectiveness of investment are suggested.
