Abstract
This article is devoted to such method of prevention of undesirable pregnancy as the combined oral contraceptives (COC). Classification is given, the main composition and the mechanism of effect of medicines is specified. Regulations of аdmission the COС, indications and contraindications, symptoms of adaptation and possible complications are listed when using this method of contraception.
