Abstract

A comparative description of the objectives of risk management and the logistics activity controlling of the enterprise was conducted, which allowed highlighting the mutual orientation of the objectives of the management systems under investigation. The main differences between risk management and the logistics activity controlling of the enterprise are identified, which include the use of probability theory for calculating the onset of risk by risk management and monitoring the implementation of plans through the formation of planned indicators and comparison with the actual – the logistics activity controlling of the enterprise. The necessity of integrating risk management and the logistics activity controlling of the enterprise is grounded in order to obtain a synergistic effect and increase the efficiency of logistic planning and implementation of logistic functions. The conducted researches and analysis of previous researches have made it possible to establish the need for integrated application of risk management and the logistics activity controlling, arguing that logistics costs can make a significant part of the cost of production and significantly affect the competitiveness of the enterprise.
